Diamond Silver Reflective Mylar Film 1.22m x7.6m is a reflective Mylar film with a white backing sheet that works in a similar way to a horticultural lighting reflector. The diamond diffused pattern stamped into the film spreads the reflected light particles evenly and eliminates grow room hot spots. When placed over the top of plant containers, rockwool cubes or any other grow medium, it stops the growth of algae and reflects light back up to the bottom of the canopy.

Investment in reflective sheeting allows stray light to be redirected back towards your plants. This is especially important in a small grow room. Plant growth is nearly linear with light intensity and the installation of reflective sheeting will increase the total light intensity which saves money in the long term. The Mylar is easily attached by tape, staples or Velcro. If you use Velcro, it makes taking it down for cleaning much easier and reduces the risk of tearing, creasing or bending it.

  • Dimensions: 1.22m x 7.6m.
  • Diamond pressed for increased light diffusion and easier handling.
  • 50% more reflective than standard black & white sheeting.
  • Flame Retardant and does not give off noxious fumes.
  • Diamond Surface design reduces infrared heat signatures.

Polyethylene terephthalate, commonly abbreviated as PET and also known as Mylar, is a thermoplastic polymer resin of the polyester family. The PET coated membrane dramatically increases the strength and reduces creasing of this product.
