Now you can monitor and control your grow environments vapour pressure deficit (VPD) or relative humidity (RH).
This Humidity Controller can maintain the humidity between humidification and dehumidification automatically. The humidifier and dehumidifier can also be programmed separately, if required.
The Inkbird IHC-200 can control up to 2300 Watts (230v) of Combined temperature and humidity control devices.

Air temperature and humidity are the two factors that cause a phenomenon called Vapour Pressure Deficit (VPD).
VPD is a measurement of the ability of moisture to evaporate from the leaves of your plant.
For plants to grow at their maximum rate, the humidity needs to be within the right range for the particular temperature of the air and the growth stage of the plants.
Humidity is a complicated business. Dry air allows water to evaporate, which leads to plants transpiring or water evaporating from the leaves. In turn they draw up too many nutrients and burn the leaves.
Whereas, if your humidity is too high condensation can form on the leaves and cause mould. Your plants won’t be able to transpire and won’t draw up enough nutrients.

How to use the Inkbird Dual Relay Humidity Controller IHC-200
Place the sensor probe in the middle of the grow space at about canopy height. Set your desired settings and then plug in your humidifier and dehumidifier and then let it automatically adjust your atmosphere.
A circulation fan in the grow-space will increase the consistency of the temperature and the humidity throughout the grow space and is highly recommended.
